Locality is launching a competition to find successful examples of peer-to-peer learning to inform the Big Lottery Fund’s forthcoming Learning for Impact initiative.

Many people in the voluntary and community sector share passion, a focus on outcomes and impact that leverage other resources, a sound business model and high expectations for both themselves and their service users. The very best of us also have a generosity of spirit that is reflected in our willingness to share ideas and best practice – and to acknowledge that we can always learn something from others.

At Locality we have a terrific staff team, but our starting point is that the real experts are our members. Whatever the issue, you can bet one of them has been there, done that, got the T-shirt – and is willing to share that learning. That’s what makes so many of them successful, innovative and adaptable.
