Dundee-based social enterprise, The Circle, has begun announcing the lineup of speakers and facilitators for the first run of their new programme, The Circle Academy. The 12-week programme for those interested in running an organisation with a More Than Profit approach officially begins on Monday 23rd September.
The Circle has attracted speakers and facilitators from a wide range of organisations from both the charitable sector and from commercial entities which operate on a local, national and international scale.
The Academy will welcome speakers from highly successful More Than Profit organisations such as Hey Girls, Cornerstone and Homes for Good CIC, GTS Solutions CIC, The Cyrenians.
There will also be sessions with Scotland CanB, Project Heather and FutureX.
Some of the commercial businesses which will be providing speakers include Johnston Carmichael Chartered Accountants, WL Gore and Thorntons Investments.
Candidates will also hear from some of these funding bodies; Social Investment Scotland, Big Society Capital, Resilient Scotland and UnLtd and private investors and business angels.
