The Community Partnership (CP) is a membership organisation run by its members for the benefit of all communities in and around Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
CP’s main aims are to build strong and vibrant communities, encourage communities to take part in their own development, and to bring communities together to learn and grow both individually and as a National Park.
To achieve this, it works closely with communities and other partners to build confidence through training, access to resources, events and project support.
CP has also helped communities engage with participatory budgeting initiatives, has held community fundraisers, and facilitates Local Area Networks across the Trossachs National Park to help bring groups together to identify opportunities for development.
The work of the Community Partnership is currently funded through a Sevice Level Agreement with the National Park Authority, with supplementary funding coming in the form of grants from funding bodies to support specific projects.
Recently, CP launched a new social enterprise hub in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park in partnership with the Social Enterprise Academy.
One of the key aims of the hub project is to establish a pool of Social Enterprise Academy associate learning facilitators in the national park area who will be able to facilitate face to face learning.
