Project OsKar and Caring Christmas Trees

 Project OsKar

Project OsKar has three main objectives

Reduce the quantity of waste going to landfill in Renfrewshire.
Offer employment, training and stability to young people in Renfrewshire, particularly those young people furthest from the job market.
Supply good value household items for sale to members of the public, particularly low income families or housing association customers.

We have been in operation now for 12 weeks and are actively marketing for both donators and customers.

As the mission of this venture is designed to assist Renfrewshire residents I thought it may be of interest to you.

Caring Christmas Trees

In the past two years we have raised £1800 in aid of Accord Hospice by selling Caring Christmas Trees.  Our young people at Kibble thoroughly enjoy the experience; learning about warehouse distribution, customer service and delivery.

This year Kibble’s Project OsKar is selling Caring Christmas Trees from its warehouse in Clark Street.  It’s really simple – we will sell good quality, needle-last Christmas trees, for around the same price as everywhere else, and the money we raise goes to the Hospice.

We hope you will buy your tree for Christmas 2010 from us and encourage your friends to do the same.

Trees are now ready to be picked up from Project OsKar, 24 Clark Street, Paisley PA3 1RB
