Policy Paper on Business Support
Social Enterprise Coalition
The Social Enterprise Coalition has written a policy paper which sets out the case for appropriate and targeted business support provision. It shows how social enterprises are different from mainstream businesses and what barriers they typically face when accessing business support. The paper also highlights the uneven provision and quality of support across and within the regions and proposes a ‘braided’ approach to delivery, that is where mainstream and specialist provision are combined to ensure that social enterprises receive support that is fully responsive to their needs.
