Booking Forms are now available for this year`s Ceilidh at New Lanark, it’s filling up fast the so the sooner you get your form in the better. In 2006Green-C-Kayaks won the £4,000 prize in the Dragon’s Den, and a few folk have already made their bid for a place this year, but there’s still room for a few more! New this year as part of the Market Place is ‘The ‘Soap Box’, if you’ve got something to say you couldn’t find a better place to get it off your chest!This year New Lanak’s Mill Hotel is even better with a brand new state of the art health spa, with pool, sauna and multi-gym, so don’t forget to pack your ‘swim suit’! The dates are 15th/16th November.Inverclyde SEN met for the first time at the Point Hotel in Greenock on 10th October. The meeting, hosted by Enterprise Childcare, saw some lively debate and the group are keen to get going and raise the social enterprise banner on the West Coast. Thursday saw a smaller group than expected (due to ‘The Chicken Run II on the A80) launch a new national thematic Network for health improvement and social care organisations. Guest speakers Green MSP, Patrick Harvie and Unity Enterprise’s Magaret McCarthy gave great presenations and we look forward to meeting those who couldn’t make it yesterday at Unity’s Cafe on Friday 7th of December for the next meeting. colin@senscot.net
