roshni is a national charity tackling a range of minority ethnic (ME) issues across Scotland. They are primarily concerned with the health, safety and wellbeing of ME children and families.
“Our projects include the Tackling Forced Marriage Initiative, which provides culturally sensitive support including a helpline, counseling and befriending as well as an online resource centre. We have also developed the Ethnic Survivor’s Forum, which offers support to adult survivors of childhood abuse.”
roshni also provides a number of consultancy and training services. roshni Research & Consultancy is available to carry out research and develop strategies, including training, to ensure that organisations are informed on issues that affect minority ethnic communities and are able to provide appropriate and effective services.
