Perth Bike Station was opened in 2010, with just two staff who collected, repaired and sold bikes, since then they have now collected over 16,000 bicycles in Perth & Kinross.
Working in collaboration with The Scottish Prison Service they run a project funded by The Robertson Trust working with offenders. Scottish and Southern Energy have funded a Build Your Own Bike project in Aberfeldy, they have worked with Sustrans iBike project in schools , developed a programme of Dr.Bike work at Dundee University. They support a training workshop in The Murray Royal Hospital and they work with volunteers from the Employment Support Team of Perth & Kinross Council.
They have provided work placements to Barnardo’s Works and other groups who assist them in their work and contribute financially to community projects that they deliver.
