Friday 17th July, 1.30-3pm via Zoom
One of the key themes emerging from Social Enterprise Reset week was mental health and wellbeing, with social enterprises highlighting concerns in relation to their workforce, the individuals who access their services & activities and across their local communities.
Over the coming months we will be hosting a series of SEN sessions focusing on mental health & wellbeing. The first session will focus on supporting your workforce in returning to work post lockdown.
You’ll have the opportunity to hear from social enterprises, including Jonny Kinross at Grassmarket Community Project on how they’ve been supporting the mental wellbeing of their workforce during the covid-19 crisis and to discuss the challenges and issues around this with fellow social enterprises.
The Wee Retreat have very kindly offered to provide a taster mindfulness exercise during the session, with everyone welcome to participate in this if they would like to.
Helena MacLeod from Bridge A Gap and the Rural Mental Health Foundation will also join us to talk about mental health & wellbeing in the workplace focusing on the key risk areas of work-related stress which employers need to be aware of under HSE legislation, particularly now with the impact of Covid.
This will be followed by an interactive Q&A and the opportunity for general discussion and to share experiences.
