Join Impact Arts Board
Impact Arts is a national arts organisation which changes lives through the arts. We work in the fields of youth employment, services to older people, community arts and regeneration. We have demonstrated our success and are now considered one of Scotland’s leading social enterprises. We have excellent relationships with partners as diverse as housing associations, Scottish Fire and Rescue and youth organisations across the country. We work closely with Inspiring Scotland, Big Lottery Fund and the Scottish Government and many other local and national agencies.
Impact Arts is now in a new, exciting stage of its development. The environment we are operating in is full of opportunity and challenge and we have been selected to be one of fifteen organisations in Scotland to receive Big Lottery support via the Better By Design programme to re-design how we do business. We are now is looking for interested individuals who are able to give some time to support us. We are looking to appoint new Trustees to join the board. These posts are voluntary, though expenses will be paid.
We are looking for people with expertise and a passion for the role of arts in social change, acting in line with Impact Arts’ values, aims and principles. You might have a background in the arts, business and enterprise, public policy, the third sector and charities, youth work or regeneration. You might be well connected and knowledgeable about national and local policies and strategies that affect Impact Arts’ work.
