The Service Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day running of Unity Empower West Dunbartonshire, a project for Adults 16+ who live with a learning disability, support need or autism to work towards goals in education, work or recreation.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide a quality service, which promotes a person centred approach to planning and carrying out activities, which recognises the Service User as the expert in their support.
The candidate will have a good understanding of National and Local policy, and an understanding of the National Standards for Health and Social Care. The candidate should hold a relevant SVQ IV or be willing to work work towards this.
Key tasks of this role include; the motivation and supervision of staff, creation of new activities for the service, forming quality partnerships in the local area and representing Empower and our parent organisation Unity and local and national meetings.
