Edinburgh Old Town Development Trust is developing a community space for residents called ‘The Crannie’ in Cranston Street (off the Royal Mile). The hub will provide much needed space to meet, work, learn and hold events.
The Development Manager will take an overview of the Crannie community hub project and line manage the other staff (yet to be recruited). They will lead the development of the centre as a viable social enterprise, generating business and forming strategic partnerships. This post is outward facing, raising the profile of the organisation and its work, as well as ensuring the Crannie team delivers on an operational basis.
Salary is £30,000 pro rata 30 hours a week. This post is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund (formerly the Big Lottery Fund) for up to three years.
