The Year of Young People National Lottery Fund

The Year of Young People National Lottery Fund is offering grants of between £3,000 and £10,000 to projects that focus on young people’s health and wellbeing.

Improving young people’s physical and mental health

Health and wellbeing includes many different things from supporting young people to lead active lives to providing opportunities to learn about and improve mental and physical health. Here are some examples of projects we’ve funded that have successfully achieved outcomes for health and wellbeing:

Who we fund

We fund:

Not-for-profit organisations
Partnerships led by not-for-profit organisations

What we fund

We are looking to fund projects that:

Inspire young people to lead active lives and encourage positive mental health

Your project must involve young people in activities promoting active lives or positive mental health (or both). For example, your project could give young people new opportunities to enjoy Scotland’s wildlife and nature; volunteer for a sport or community organisation; or discover a new creative talent.
