Feasibility study for Kinloch Rannoch site

Rannoch Community Trust (RCT) is considering the acquisition of a derelict plot of land in the centre of Kinloch Rannoch in order to develop it for affordable housing to meet local housing need (a housing needs analysis was undertaken earlier in 2018). RCT are in the process of applying to the Scottish Land Fund and the Rural Housing Fund for funding to undertake a feasibility study and have drawn up a brief for the study. The Trust are now seeking costed proposals from suitably qualified and experienced consultants with a view to making an appointment once funding has been secured.

The outputs of the feasibility study will include:

  • A market valuation of the site;
  • A costed plan and design;
  • A financial appraisal and business plan for a community owned, affordable housing development.

A copy of the full feasibility study brief can be obtained here or by emailing projects@ourrannoch.co.uk.

Costed proposals/tenders should be submitted by email to projects@ourrrannoch.co.uk no later than 5.00pm, Friday 18thJanuary 2019.
