Meet the Pioneers: Renewables Trailblazers – Community Driven Power

Join Community Land Scotland and three guests speakers, Malcolm McMillan from Machrihanish Airbase Community Company (solar), Moray Finch from Mull and Iona Community Trust (micro-hydro) and Jamie Adam from Isle of Canna Community Development Trust (wind), to hear about their revolutionary tales of installing community-owned renewable technologies; the pros and cons of installing such technologies; where to seek advice on community consultation, feasibility studies and procurement processes; the financial impact (initial expenditure and potential income generation); and how the income generated can progress other local, community-led initiatives leading to sustainable, resilient futures.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the webinar and take part in a Q&A after the presentations have finished.
