Be part of The Ripple Effect transforming Scotland
Wipe out disadvantage for our young people
Join us and find out how we can create a tidal wave of change
The MCR Pathways team works to eradicate the limitations placed on our country’s most disadvantaged young people. You are invited to join us for this special event, as part of the Fire Starter Festival, to hear how one simple action sparked a movement that’s radically transforming outcomes for care-experienced young people in Scotland.
At this event you’ll:
- Be inspired by young people – see how mentoring for just one hour a week has changed lives
- Hear from MCR’s Founder, the inspirational social entrepreneur Iain MacRitchie, on the impact mentoring has had in Glasgow and how it’s rippling across the country
- Learn from committed MCR Mentors Amber Livingstone (Radio Clyde) and Raymond Porter (Business Entrepreneur) the differences they’ve seen, both in their young person and in their own lives
- Complete the first step in the mentoring journey if you decide to sign up
This short session will include sharing inspirations stories, our vision for the future and, of course, the opportunity to ask questions and meet like-minded people looking for something special to get involved in this year.
If you decide to become a mentor you will also have completed your first stage and be one step closer to joining the ripple effect. Changing lives with one small action.
