Make your own Zero Waste Christmas Cards – Saturday 7th December 2019

Make yours a sustainable Christmas and join our new creative workshop to make your own unique Christmas cards using lino cutting and printing techniques.

In this workshop you will learn how to design an image or pattern to print onto recycled cards. You will get to choose or design your own image or pattern which you will then cut into lino and transfer onto card using a variety of coloured oils. Over the 2.5 hours you’ll have the opportunity to create two unique designs to print onto 6 cards each.

This technique is hugely versatile and can be used time and time again once learned to make your own recycled paper cards for any occasion!

Image and pattern examples will be given to you beforehand and on the day, so don’t worry too much about what pattern or image to use as there will be plenty of inspiration and options to choose from!

All materials, lino, inks and tools will be provided, as well as tea and coffee to keep those creative juices flowing.

This workshop is suitable for all skill levels as guidance and support is given every step of the way.
