Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is the way that DWP is now procuring employability services across Scotland. It aims to deliver more targeted, localised and faster services from a wide choice of suppliers (incl social enterprises) to meet the gaps in employability provision identified at a local level by DWP/JobcentrePlus staff.
Responding to interest from members, GSEN and Social Firms Scotland are holding a workshop, with support from P4P, to provide more detail on DPS, how you register and the opportunities and challenges it represents
DWP staff will provide an overview of DPS alongside the role of Community Partners and other DWP initiatives (Disability Confident, Access to Work). Hear from a SFS member who has successfully bid for and delivered DPS contracts and from P4P on the support they can provide to social enterprises on DPS.
