Join us for a 2 hour training session on how to create a strong project plan, online via zoom. Suitable for creative practitioners, artists or those working with community groups. This workshop will help you put your great ideas down on paper, or outline how to get them started. Jennifer will outline the tools you need to be able to put in strong funding applications to various funders. It is about having a clear idea of what your project is, who it will benefit and how it meets the criteria of the funding. Having a strong project plan in place before you start to seek funding can make the process easier.The workshop will cover the following areas:

– Getting clear on your project aims & objectives
– Learning about resources and budgets
– Creating timelines to keep you on track
– Assembling the dream team, working with other creatives, partners, stakeholders and volunteers.
– Monitoring and Evaluation
– Being aware of risks and conflicts

Workshop Facilitator:

This workshop is lead by Jennifer McGlone from Glow Arts. With over 20 years experience of working in the Creative Industries, Jennifer has had a diverse career in a variety of roles from music tutor, tour manager, Development Officer for charities, Local Authorities and Creative Scotland, Creative Consultants to Creative Entrepreneur. She currently runs Glow Arts a creative consultancy that works with creatives and community organisations to support them in the development of their projects and fundraising having secured over half million £ in the past 12 months. She is a Director of Braw Wee Emporium, an online Scottish Gift shop that works with over 20 small Scottish Businesses to showcase their and our own in-house products.
