Create a Puppet, Create Yourself Training Event

Join staff from the Citizens Theatre Learning Team for a practical training course this spring. CREATE A PUPPET, CREATE YOURSELF is an Erasmus+ funded European project which explores the use of puppetry for social integration (<>). As this three-year project nears completion, Citizens Theatre staff will share the new skills they have learned.

During this practical one day training course you will make your own paper puppet and will work cooperatively in small groups to bring your puppet to life using the CREATE A PUPPET, CREATE YOURSELF methodology. Throughout the day there will be presentations, group discussions and sharing of best practice.

The training course is suitable for those who work with adults in the following settings:

The aim of the training course is to equip you with the skills required to use the CREATE A PUPPET, CREATE YOURSELF methodology with the adults you work with.
