The grand reopening of our climbing wall following refurbishment is on 15 March at 7pm, with free ‘come and try’ climbing between 7.30-8.30pm for the first 30 people to register on the night. Jamie Andrews, mountaineer and quadruple amputee, will be there to say a few words and launch the new wall.
We also ran a competition on social media in December to come up with a new name for the wall and the winning entry is… Uamh Bheag! The name means “little cave” and is also a local Graham (a mountain between 2000-2500 feet high).
Thank you to Stirling Council’s ‘Your Place, Your Priorities’ fund, Climb Scotland, Active Stirling, Young Explorers Scotland, RTA Builders and CRA (Alloa) Ltd for their support with the refurbishment.
