A community learning exchange for social enterprises interested in the role of cinema and film in health and wellbeing.
Birks Cinema, a social enterprise based in Aberfeldy, is a unique state-of-the-art rural cinema showing the latest movies and delivering a wide selection of programmes and projects that contribute to the health and wellbeing of the community. As Screen has attracted more funding in Scotland a conversation around the wider community benefits has arisen. This visit will allow social enterprises to explore how health and wellbeing projects are being delivered with cinema and film as a tool, making film production and exhibition more accessible and tackling local issues.
*A bursary is available to help with travel and accommodation costs for any social enterprises taking part.
