Welcome to the first edition of the new Community Enterprise e-magazine.  At a time of change and challenge, sharing inspiring stories, highlighting what support is out there and shining a light on some of the people working behind the scenes, seems even more important than ever to our friends, clients and beneficiaries.

SUPPORT SUNLIGHT

Finding the right support, right now

The SE Eco-system Map, Third Sector Resilience Fund & Just Enterprise

The interactive Social Enterprise eco-system map is going digital. The design of the new online map has been driven by the sector and will be available soon. One of the big advantages of moving beyond a static map is that it can respond to change quickly – and we are certainly needing that kind of response right now.

The Third Sector Resilience Fund is still live and exists fundamentally to ensure that we have a robust third sector when the pandemic is over. This funding is for those organisations who “find themselves in financial difficulties directly as a result of the coronavirus pandemic”. The two main reasons for rejection have been not maximising the opportunities of furlough, and requesting funds for direct service delivery.

The enhanced and re-scoped Just Enterprise programme now includes a crisis element. Getting business support here, will help plan intelligently, part of which could be the support to submit a strong and relevant bid to the TSRF.
