Big Lottery Funding in Scotland
John Fellows, BIG Scotland
Last week’s bulletin commented upon Big Lottery Funding in Scotland, and specifically, funding to support Voluntary Sector infrastructure development. This was factually incorrect and may have been misleading (https://senscot.net/view_news.php?SK=1e9900d0c2be6734220070f3f4a89d8a&viewid=7454).
Contrary to the assertion in last week’s bulletin, the DINC Forum, which has been set up as part of the Supporting Voluntary Action (SVA) initiative delivered through SCVO, will not have any part in the BIG Lottery Fund’s decision making process.
All decisions on the Investing in Communities programme are made by BIG’s Scotland Committee, and the SVA DINC Forum will not have access to or influence over any funding applications made to the BIGLottery Fund.’
