All Strong Scotland C.I.C. are shortly launching a community support app with National Lottery funding, dedicated to the self-management of mental wellbeing in a safe community platform, with a particular focus on physical activity and peer exchange.
Part of the content of this app will be inspirational stories, of those who have successfully used physical activity, alongside any other tools or supports, to improve mental health, cope with stresses and challenging life events, in recovery from any addictive behaviour, or to support any other aspect of mental wellbeing.
As such, All Strong Scotland CIC are putting out a CALL for CONTENT seeking input from both:
- ORGANISATIONS (relating to either mental health, sport or physical activity) and their view on the benefits of physical activity for improved mental wellbeing, as well as any support or services the organisation provides to that end, with relevant links to the organisations’ website and services
- INDIVIDUALS – to share inspiring stories of using physical activity (of any kind at any level), to triumph over mental wellbeing struggles
Stories can be shared via email, by answering questions for an interview-style article, or a podcast interview recorded remotely. Written articles would then be formatted and returned for approval, at which point our consent form would need to be completed for story publication.
Any organisation or individual who would like to contribute, please get in touch with Andy at All Strong Scotland CIC: email@example.com / 07493 027 053.
