In Kind Direct

Founded in 1997 by HRH The Prince of Wales, In Kind Direct redistributes surplus products, donated by some of the UK’s best known companies, to a network of charities, not-for-profits and social enterprises working at home and abroad.

How do charities benefit?

It’s free to register with In Kind Direct, once registered charities access an online catalogue of all the products available. Charities pay a small handling charge per order to use the service, typically this is 10-20% of the retail price of the goods, and includes delivery. The items received can be used to run services or given to beneficiaries for free.
Goods available include cleaning products, bed and bath linen, clothes, toiletries, toys, office supplies and equipment. All the items are new and usable but are donated to In Kind Direct because they are samples, slight seconds, end of lines, slow moving stock or have faulty packaging.
