Events for Charities (EfC) is a charity resource service that includes arranging and setting up charity events for all charities. EfC’s aim is to make arranging and holding charity events as easy as possible and to gain the most exposure from in house promotion and marketing and less cost and time. They have an extensive resource of direct links to various companies that will have the knowledge to give you the best equipment, entertainment etc they have to suit your needs.

EfC has years of experience at various levels in creating and supporting charities and organisations to help you raise funds & awareness for your given charity to a professional standard.

If you are having your own charity event or fundraiser and wish to have it advertised on their website and social media outlets – let them know and they can wadd this to other events in the events section to help give your event a little more promotion.

Events for Charities started off the back of a few charities events over the last 2 years and is looking to share the experiences gained and give help to groups, and organisations wanting to put on a successful event with less stress.

Its first charity music event was in aid of 500 miles for Ciara in association with Poppy Scotland. They put together a music event featuring a host of original and cover bands and raised a total of £2,494. This was to help Ciara go to blind school in Edinburgh, with the promotion and media EfC used to promote the event, they helped Ciara gain her place in Edinburgh’s school for the blind.

Other events have included  Rock for Funds – in aid of Yorkhill Childrens’ Foundation – as well as events on behalf of Cue and Review; Erskine Hospital; CHAS and the Clutha Benefit Weekend

With over 14 years working in the music industry in management, promotion and booking agency work, EfC is now putting its experiences in the industry to good use to market events and promotion for charities, community groups and other third sector organisations in Scotland.
